As part of our commitment to our families, we operate 14 dedicated bus services exclusively for use by Faith Lutheran College students.
Each day, our college bus service transports approximately 350 students to and from school.
Our bus network covers a broad area, spanning across Brisbane’s Outer Western suburbs, Ipswich, the Lockyer Valley and the eastern suburbs of Toowoomba.
Bus routes are revised each year to ensure that each student (including new enrolments) that needs to catch a bus to school is able to access a bus service.
Applying to Catch A Bus
Students intending to catch a Faith-operated bus to school need to complete a Bus Usage Application form and return it to the Faith Lutheran College office, before they can commence travel.
Bus Usage Fees
Students using Faith Bus Services are charged a bus fee by the College. These fees are in addition to any other fees (i.e. tuition, resource levies) that are paid to the College as part of a student’s enrolment, and are charged on a per family basis.
The fees for using Faith Bus Services vary, but usually equate to between $36 and $45 per week per family, depending on the collection point.
Faith Bus Routes
Each Faith-operated bus route runs daily, following a schedule to collect and drop-off students who have requested the use of a bus service. Bus routes are revised regularly to ensure that each student (including new enrolments) that needs to catch a bus to school is able to access a bus service.
