Ready For Your First Day?
We’re excited to welcome you to our teaching and learning community here at Faith Lutheran College!
To help you prepare for your first day, we’ve compiled some key information, documents and suggestions below.
Commencing on the first day of a new School Year
Students commencing on the first day of a new school year will join with a number of other new commencements and participate in our start of year welcome program. This program is run annually for all new starters (usually across the first week) and is designed to set all students up for life and learning at Faith Lutheran College.
Students will need to wear full formal uniform on the first day of the school year.
Commencing in the middle of a School Term
During the school term (outside of the very first day), new students always commence on a Wednesday.
This occurs for a number of reasons:

Our Wednesday Program provides us with the best opportunity to welcome new students and ensure they are equipped to begin learning.

Beginning on Wednesday makes for a short first week, which helps with any anxiety or nervousness a new student might be feeling.

Our Wednesday timetable is very flexible, allowing our staff, and your child’s new classmates to dedicate time and attention to showing new students around.
As you prepare for your first day at Faith, both our Enrolments Team and our Teaching and Learning Leaders will work to ensure you have everything you need to begin your educational journey with us.

After you receive your Enrolment Offer, there are a number of forms that need to be completed and returned.
Copies of each form will be provided along with your Enrolment Contract, however if you lose or misplace a form, you can download a new copy using the link(s) below:

UNIFORM
Uniform
Wearing of uniform is compulsory at Faith Lutheran College, and all students are expected to be dressed in uniform on their first day.
Uniforms can be purchased from the Faith Uniform Shop, with a second-hand uniform service also available.

MEDICAL PLANS
Medical Plans
To ensure our staff are adequately informed about any known medical conditions, some additional plans may need to be completed and attached to the student medical information form.
Medical Management Plans
Asthma
To be completed for a students with a known history of Asthma.
Diabetes
To be completed for a students with a known diabetic condition.
Anaphylaxis
To be completed for a students with a known diabetic condition.

Faith Lutheran College owns and operates 14 different buses, providing safe and reliable transport for more than 450 students each morning and afternoon.
