Enrolment Process
Our enrolment process for International Students is outlined through the steps below:
Step 1: Send an Enrolment Enquiry
Enquire if the school has a place available for you, and provide the following information:
- Name
- Date of Birth
- Year Level requested for enrolment
- Proof of English language proficiency
- Advice as to whether High School Preparation Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS) is required
- Course start date and period of time for studies
- Any special needs or requirements
Step 2: Enrolment Application
If a place is available, complete the International Student Enrolment Application, and attach the relevant documentation as stated under the Enrolment Application Checklist.
The International Student Enrolment Application can be downloaded below or by contacting the College (international@faithlc.qld.edu.au).
Step 3: Lodge Application
Return your application to the College together with the Application Fee of $400.00 (GST inclusive) and other documentation as requested on the form.
The Application Fee is an administrative fee and is non-refundable. An application for enrolment can only be processed when all of the documents have been submitted.
Step 4: Application Review & Processing
Return your application to the College together with the Application Fee of $300.00 (GST inclusive) and other documentation as requested on the form.

Step 5: Outcome Advice
You will be contacted and advised of the outcome of the student’s application or will be asked to provide further information. Parents and students should understand the College’s policies, requirements and conditions.
Step 6: Letter of Offer
Faith Lutheran College will notify you, the parent, by sending you a written Letter of Offer if your application is accepted.
The next step is to complete the Student Written Agreement and return this with the International Student Enrolment Commitment Fee of $400.00 (GST inclusive and fully refundable) this indicates your acceptance of the offer of a place for your student. For further information, please review the College’s Entry Requirements Policy.
Step 7: Confirmation
For full fee paying international students, on receipt of all documentation and payment of the relevant fees and any Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) amount, Faith Lutheran College will issue the electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE) and, Confirmation of Appropriate Accommodation and Welfare arrangements (CAAW) documents the student will need to apply for a Student Visa.

Homestay Arrangements
Homestay is a valuable opportunity for international students to experience the Australian lifestyle and practise their English language skills in a real home setting.
As a Homestay Provider, you contribute to the positive memories international students have of their studies in Queensland. Our most successful hosts form cultural links and friendships with students and their families all over the world.

Code of Ethics and the ESOS Framework
As a registered provider of education to overseas students, Faith Lutheran College is bound by the National Code of Practice for Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students 2018 under its registration on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS).

The Education Services for Overseas Students, or ESOS Act, provides the regulatory requirements for education and training institutions offering courses to international students in Australia on a student visa.
