Graduate Phase (Years 11 and 12)
Our Graduate Phase curriculum for students in Years 11 and 12 aims to produce future-ready, lifelong learners who are equipped and empowered to lead successful, meaningful and purposeful lives.
Pathways to Post-School Life
Understanding that the post-school goals of each individual student are unique, Faith offers access to a broad range of pathways, tailored to meet the needs of each learner.
Our approach is to work with each student and their family to promote an aspirational attitude toward post-school options – ensuring that each student has multiple avenues available to them following the completion of their secondary studies.
Flexible Timetable
The Graduate Phase timetable has been configured to assist each student to manage their assessment load and reduce stress and anxiety.
By supporting the development of effective study habits and critical thinking skills, and offering additional flexibility to prepare for key periods of study through our Wednesday program, we provide an exceptional environment for Graduate Phase students to achieve to their potential.
ATAR Pathways
Our College has a proud history of producing university-ready graduates.
We offer a broad range of subjects and our curriculum provides choice from both General and Applied subject streams.
During the Graduate Phase, Faith students can obtain Certificate-level qualifications that enable them to qualify for early admission or guaranteed places in University programs.
Due to the extensive range of subjects on offer, our Senior students are often able to study a combination of subjects that reflect their personal interests and passions, while ensuring they are meeting the requirements necessary for entry into University, TAFE or other tertiary study.
Vocational Education and Training (VET) Pathways
As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), Faith Lutheran College offers our students the opportunity to complete qualifications up to a Certificate III level, and explore pathways into the workforce through apprenticeships, traineeships and school-based training.
Our ability to provide Certificate-level training as part of our Senior curriculum significantly broadens the scope of pathways we are able to offer, allowing our students to attain both their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) and obtain industry-recognised qualifications prior to the completion of their secondary schooling.
