This event organised by the German Teachers’, sets German language and culture alive for around 2,000 primary and secondary school students and teachers from across Queensland. Learning resources, quizzes and competitions are also provided as part of the integrated learning journey for the weeks leading up to this schools’ German Festival.
This festival is an unforgettable educational day of great German fun, live and direct from the Munich Oktoberfest Oompa Band (Wolpertinger) food, competitions and most importantly, language. Students learn and use their German skills with other students and teachers across the whole of South-East Queensland and beyond … and immerse themselves in the most authentic German festival experience in Australia!
