Vocational Education and Training (VET) Pathways
As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), Faith Lutheran College is able to offer our students the opportunity to complete qualifications up to a Certificate III level, and explore pathways into the workforce through apprenticeships, traineeships and school-based training.
Vocational Education and Training (VET) Pathways at Faith
Faith is committed to providing students access to a diverse range of learning pathways, including pathways that lead directly into the workforce.
Through our Senior Years curriculum, and relationships with a range of external training providers, we are able to offer Certificate-level courses and training across a range of disciplines.
Our VET courses provide a post-schooling pathway that is likely to lead directly into the workforce, or into further industry-based training programs such as apprenticeships and traineeships. Senior Years students engaged in our VET programs graduate with their Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE) as well as additional qualifications and formal certifications that are recognised by industry.

Early Childhood Education
Sport and Recreation
To support the delivery of our VET programs, our campus houses a number of industry-standard training and work environments, including our Trade Training Centre, Hospitality Kitchens, Health Training Hub and Sports Centre.
Across all of our VET programs, industry trained and qualified specialist teachers deliver training in to industry-standard levels, providing key employability skills and knowledge to meet employer expectations.
School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships
In addition to accessing VET studies through our Senior Years curriculum, Faith provides opportunity for students to engage in school-based apprenticeships and traineeships.
These options are available to students from Year 10 onwards, and are generally completed prior to Year 12 graduation.
School-based apprenticeships and traineeships are Government-supported, and provide an authentic and practical introduction to the working world, while contributing toward formal qualifications.
